City of Kawartha Lakes OPP Responded to a Motor Vehicle Collision on Emily Park Road

(City of Kawartha Lakes, ON) - Officers from the City of Kawartha Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a serious collision on Emily Park Road and Meadowview Road within City of Kawartha Lakes.
On September 28, 2025, shortly at approximately 5:30 pm, officers responded to a two-vehicle collision involving two motor vehicles. One occupant from the one motor vehicle, a 28-year-old from Bobcaygeon, was transported to a Toronto-area trauma center with life-threatening injuries. The occupants from the other motor vehicle were transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.
Emily Park Road was closed for several hours while the OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Reconstructionist assisted with the investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
