IMPAIRED DRIVER ARRESTED AND CHARGED IN WOODVILLE

(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) - Members from the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) entered into an impaired driving investigation while in Woodville for an unrelated event.
On Wednesday August 13, 2025 at approximately 6:27 pm, officers observed the driver of a motor vehicle on Agnes Street and entered into an impaired driving investigation. The driver was arrested and charged with a Criminal Code offence.
Carter Prosser, 29-year-old of Woodville, was charged with:
- Failure or Refusal to Comply with Demand
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay at a later date. The drivers license was suspended for 90 days and the motor vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
