COLLISION ON HIGHWAY 62 SENDS THREE PEOPLE TO HOSPITAL

(PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY, ON) - A two-vehicle collision on Highway 62, just south of Rossmore, has sent three people to hospital.
On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, just before 1:00 pm, members of the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a collision, in which a stopped vehicle was struck from behind by another vehicle.
The occupants of both vehicles were transported to hospital by Hastings-Quinte paramedics with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 41-year-old woman from Bloomfield has been charged with:
- Careless driving
- Driving a vehicle with no current permit
- Driving a vehicle with no licence
- Failing to have an insurance card
Highway 62 reopened after the vehicles were towed from the scene.
