OPP INVESTIGATING ARMED ROBBERY AT PICTON GAS STATION

(PICTON, ON) - The Prince Edward County Detachment of Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating an armed robbery and vehicle theft at a Picton gas station.
On Saturday, November 22, 2025, shortly before 1:30 am, a male suspect entered a gas station in downtown Picton, allegedly armed with a handgun. After the robbery, the suspect fled the scene in a stolen vehicle.
Through a coordinated effort involving the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, OPP Emergency Response Team, the Canine Unit and Lennox & Addington OPP, the stolen vehicle was quickly located and seized.
The male suspect remains at large and is described as
- White male
- 6’0, large build
- Brown curly hair
- Red hoodie with white writing, tan pants, and black shoes
The Prince Edward County Crime Unit is continuing the investigation.
