FAMILY DISPUTE RESULTS IN CHARGES

(PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY, ON) - Members of the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one person after a family dispute.
On Thursday, April 2, 2026, at approximately 9:00 pm, Prince Edward County OPP responded to a call for service regarding a family dispute at a residence.
As a result of the investigation, one person was charged with:
- Uttering threats - cause death or bodily harm - two counts
- Assault
- Fail to comply with probation
The name of the accused is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
