OPP ARREST ONE PERSON AFTER SINGLE VEHICLE COLLISION

(COLEMAN TOWNSHIP, ON) - One driver was arrested after a single vehicle collision on Highway 11.
On Tuesday, July 1,2025 at approximately 6:30 pm, the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Emergency Medical Services (EMS), responded to a single vehicle collision on Highway 11 in Coleman Township.
The driver of the vehicle was transported to hospital by ambulance with minor injuries.
As a result of an investigation, the driver, Bryhton CHESWORTH, 28 years-of-age of Englehart, was charged with
- Dangerous operation
- Operation while impaired - alcohol
- Driving while under suspension - two counts
- Driver - fail to properly wear seat belt
The vehicle was towed and impounded.
The accused received a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS) and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Haileybury, on Tuesday August 5, 2025.
