SUSPICIOUS PERSON CALL LEADS TO BREAK AND ENTER CHARGE

(TEMISKAMING SHORES, ON) - The Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested a person in relation to a break and enter in Temiskaming Shores.
On June 4,2025 at approximately 11:30 pm, police responded to a suspicious person call at a residence on Blackwall Street in Temiskaming Shores. The investigation led officers to locate an intoxicated person and stolen items.
Jordan MILLS, 31 years-of-age from Cobalt, was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Break, enter a place - commit indictable offence
- Theft under $5,000 - two counts
- Breach of recognizance - two counts
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000- two counts
The accused remains in custody and is schedule to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Haileybury, at a later date.
