SNOW MOBILE COLLISION RESULTS IN SERIOUS INJURIES

(KENORA, ON) - The Kenora Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious single Motorized Snow Vehicle (MSV) collision on February 6th, 2026, at approximately 6:30 P.M on Lake of the Woods.
On February 6th, 2026, the Kenora OPP received information that a 60-year-old male had hit an ice ridge on Lake of the Woods in the Clearwater Bay area while operating an MSV.
Kenora OPP along with Kenora Northwest Emergency Medical Services (KWEMS) responded and provided medical attention. Injuries sustained resulted in the use of air ambulance to transport the male to Winnipeg Health Science Center where he was treated for serious injuries.
The driver is now in stable condition after medical care.
