(MOONBEAM, ON) - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) James Bay Detachment continue to investigate a fatal collision on Highway 11 near Moonbeam.

On Saturday, August 16, 2025, at approximately 3:20 am, officers responded to a motor-vehicle collision involving an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) and a Commercial Motor Vehicle.

As a result of the collision, four individuals were pronounced deceased at the scene: one 16-year-old and two 18-year-olds from Moonbeam, as well as one 20-year-old from Kapuskasing.

The investigation remains ongoing with the assistance of the Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team.
