CHARGES LAID AFTER FAILING TO STOP FOR SCHOOL BUS

(WEST PERTH, ON) - One person has been charged after failing to stop for a school bus in the Municipality of West Perth.
On October 23, 2025 The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a vehicle that failed to stop for a school bus. The incident occurred on the same day shortly after 8:30 am on Line 34 near the town of Dublin.
As a result of the investigation, 39-year-old Brandy Ireland of West Perth was charged with the following offence under the Highway Traffic Act:
- Fail to Stop for School Bus
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on December 9, 2025 to answer to the charge, which carries a fine of $200 - $1,000 upon conviction.
