OPP SEEKING ASSISTANCE WITH CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT THEFT

(WEST PERTH, ON) - The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are requesting the public’s assistance in relation a theft of construction equipment that occurred in the Municipality of West Perth.
On February 23, 2026 Perth County OPP launched an investigation into a theft that occurred at a business in the Town of Staffa. The incident is reported to have occurred sometime between February 22 and February 23, 2026.
The following property was stolen from the business and are described as:
Skid Steer:
- 2014 New Holland C238 Skid Steer
- Grey and Yellow
- Delta Power sticker
Mini Excavator:
- 2007 yellow Case CX50B Mini Excavator
- 4’ Ditching bucket and thumb blade attached
- Dent in Right side of cab
Dumb Truck:
- 2010 Mack Granite Dumb Truck
- White cab and blue dump box
- Aluminum wheels on front
- White steel rims on rear
- Canada leaf on door with Canada flags
- 3 way dump box on rear
Trailer:
- 1989 Manhattan float trailer
- Black
On February 24, 2026 the OPP recovered the stolen trailer in the Township of Howick, Huron County.
