MOTORCYCLE COLLISION LEADS TO FATALITY ON HIGHWAY 407 IN OAKVILLE

(OAKVILLE, ON) - One individual is deceased following a collision on Highway 407 in Oakville.
On Thursday, April 30, 2026, at approximately 11.55 pm, officers from the Highway 407 detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on the eastbound lanes of Highway 407 near Trafalgar Road in Oakville.
A 25-year-old male from North York was pronounced deceased at the scene.
All eastbound lanes of Highway 407 at Trafalgar Road and the Highway 407 eastbound on ramp were closed for investigation, with assistance from OPP Technical Collision Investigators and a Reconstructionist. All lanes have since reopened.
