(HAMILTON, ON) - A 64-year-old male has been pronounced deceased following a collision involving an SUV and a motorcycle.

On Thursday, June 4, 2026, shortly after 6:00 pm, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Highway Safety Division - Burlington Detachment attended the scene of a collision on Highway 6 and Book Road East in Hamilton.

The driver of the motorcycle was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Highway 6 remains closed in both directions between Highway 403 and Airport Road West, while Book Road East is closed between Fiddlers Green Road and Southcote Road due to an ongoing investigation.
