(BROCKTON, ON) - On December 15, 2025, at approximately 8:39 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a family dispute along Orange Street, Municipality of Brockton.
Officers attended the scene to discover the subject of the complaint had fled behind the residence. When officers approached the individual, they became assaultive towards police before being taken into custody.
A 34-year-old resident of Brockton was charged with:
- Assault peace officer, CC 270(1)(a) - three counts
- Breach of recognizance, CC 811 - three counts
The accused is set to appear at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice on January 28, 2026, to answer to the charges.
