(BROCKTON, ON) - On October 24, 2025, at approximately 8:11 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision along Highway 9, Municipality of Brockton.
Officers attended and located a pick-up truck which had entered the ditch. A roadside screening device was administered on the driver, resulting in a fail. The driver was subsequently taken into custody and transported for further testing.
Michael STEELE, 56-years-old, resident of Wilmot, was charged with:
- Operation while impaired - B.A.C. 80+, CC 320.14(1)(b)
The accused is set to appear at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice on December 3, 2025, to answer to the charge.
