RESIDENT FROM KINCARDINE CHARGED WITH STUNT DRIVING

(KINCARDINE, ON) - South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers stopped a speeder during proactive patrols in Kincardine.
On Monday, March 21, at 10:14 pm, South Bruce OPP members of D Platoon were conducting proactive patrols along Highway 21 in the Municipality of Kincardine when a vehicle was observed travelling at 133 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.
The vehicle was stopped, and the driver, a 23-year-old from Kincardine, was charged with the following offences under the Highway Traffic Act:
- Drive motor vehicle - perform stunt
- Speeding 133 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone
A 30 day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension and a 14-day vehicle impoundment were initiated, with the driver facing a future court date.
