FIVE ARRESTED AFTER FIREARMS AND DRUGS LOCATED DURING WARRANT SEARCH

(NORTHUMBERLAND, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged five individuals following a search and subsequent arrests in the Municipality of Trent Hills.
On March 25, 2026, members of the Peterborough/Northumberland Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with assistance from the OPP Canine Unit (K9), executed a Controlled drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) warrant at a residence on Grand Road.
During the search, officers located ammunition, a bullet‑proof vest, approximately $1,000 in Canadian currency, and roughly 170 grams of suspected cocaine.
One individual attempted to flee the area and discarded a loaded handgun, which was later recovered by police.
A separate traffic stop nearby resulted in the arrest of a person wanted on warrants and another occupant. A search of the vehicle yielded a loaded handgun, approximately 310 grams of suspected cocaine, and over $10,000 in Canadian currency.
As a result, a number of persons were taken into custody.
Justin MOORE (27) from Campbellford, has been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine
- Possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
- Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order - four counts
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000
Natasha JOHNSON (37) from Campbellford, has been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine
- Possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000
Ryan ROBERTSON (44) from Campbellford, has been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition
- Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000
Jahnye HENRICKS (31) of no fixed address, has been charged with:
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order
- Transporting a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition in a careless manner
- Occupant of a motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm
- Possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
Nathalie TRAN (37) from Oshawa, has been charged with:
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Transporting a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition in a careless manner
- Occupant of a motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm
- Possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
All of the accused were held for bail to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
