OPP SEEKING PUBLIC ASSISTANCE IN THEFT INVESTIGATION

(MUNICIPALITY OF BRIGHTON, ON) - The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a person involved in a theft investigation.
On July 21, 2025, at approximately 6:40 pm, officers responded to a report of a theft at a commercial premises on Telephone Road in the Municipality of Brighton.
The complainant reported that a person stole a jewelry ring valued at over $9,000 before fleeing the scene. The item was subject to an online marketplace sale and the individual was not located by police.
