(NORTHUMBERLAND, ON) - The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a death in the Municipality of Port Hope.
On February 19, 2026, at approximately 5:00 am, officers were called to a residence in the area of County Road 65 and 7th Line where one person was located deceased.
Preliminary information suggests this is an isolated incident, with no signs of a broader threat. Police continue to investigate and are actively monitoring the situation.
