OPP APPEALING TO PUBLIC AFTER THEFT OF COMMUNITY PANTRY

(MUNICIPALITY OF TRENT HILLS, ON) - The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a theft and is seeking assistance from the public.

On May 18, 2026, shortly after 5:30 pm, police received a report regarding the theft of a community pantry located on Bridge Street West in Campbellford.

The theft is believed to have occurred at approximately 2:15 pm the same day.

The pantry is described as off-white in colour with a dark brown top and bottom.

The community pantry provides a place for anonymously donated items to support members of the community in need.

The OPP is releasing an image of the vehicle used to transport the pantry, as well as an individual believed to be associated with the incident.
