(FORT FRANCES, ON) - Members of the Rainy River District Detachment Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged one individual with impaired operation.
On Sunday, May 10th, 2026, OPP officers in Fort Frances conducted a traffic stop in the area of Church Street and Mowat Avenue. During the investigation, officers determined that the driver was operating the vehicle while impaired.
Trevor GOBERT, age 50 of Edmonton Alberta has been charged with:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Fort Frances Ontario Court of Justice on June 25, 2026, to speak to the charges.
