TRUCK DRIVER CHARGED AFTER SINGLE VEHICLE COLLISION

(ATIKOKAN, ON) - Atikokan Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged the driver of a tractor trailer unit after a single vehicle collision on Highway 622.
On October 20, 2025, at approximately 2:00 pm, Atikokan OPP responded to a report of a truck collision on Highway 622 at the Rawn Reservoir. A tractor trailer unit with a fully loaded belly-dump gravel trailer lost control on a corner and rolled off the highway. The vehicle was a total loss and the driver walked away with only minor injury.
Kevin Terry ANDERSON, 49-years-old from Atikokan was issued a Provincial Offence Notice and is charged with one count of careless driving.
