SUSPENDED DRIVER INVOLVED IN MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION

(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON) - A driver whose licence was suspended involved in a single motor vehicle collision.
On Friday, April 3, 2026, at approximately 3:35 am, a single commercial motor vehicle (CMV) was involved in a collision on Highway 11 in Otto Township. The Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the collision where a commercial motor vehicle was in the ditch. There were no injuries to the driver or passenger.
As a result of the investigation, the driver’s licence was suspended in Ontario, therefore, the 28-year-old of Abbotsford, British Columbia, was charged with driving while under suspension.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Kirkland Lake Ontario Court of Justice on June 9, 2026.
