A Guelph woman was arrested Monday after a neighbour dispute left a man bloodied.

Just after 3 pm both parties called police. Investigation revealed the woman arrived at her apartment near downtown and saw her neighbour sitting outside. The pair exchanged heated words due to an ongoing dispute. The woman saw the man approaching her vehicle and went out to confront him.

During the altercation the man was struck in the head several times with a piece of wood. Officers observed a trail of blood leading to the man’s unit and found him with a large laceration on his forehead.

A 63-year-old Guelph woman was arrested for assault causing bodily harm. She will appear in court June 2.
