The Guelph Police Service is investigating after an SUV was stolen and then crashed early Sunday morning.
Just after 4 am Guelph Police Service officers were patrolling on Victoria Road South near Stone Road West when they located a 2025 Honda CRV which had left the road and struck a pole causing extensive damage.
The vehicle was unoccupied. Officers contacted the owner, who said the vehicle was in the parking lot of her east-end residence when she went to bed around 10 pm It is believed the collision occurred between 2:50 am and 4:10 am
