The Guelph Police Service is investigating after an employee of a downtown business was assaulted Friday afternoon.
Just before 4:30 pm a man was acting erratically inside a business near Norfolk Street and Paisley Street. An employee asked him to leave, leading to a verbal confrontation.
Once outside the store the employee took out his phone to take a picture of the suspect, who responded by striking him in the wrist causing a small bruise. The investigation is ongoing.
