A teenage girl faces assault and weapons charges after a noxious spray was discharged Friday afternoon.
Police were called at 2:30 pm to an address near Woolwich Street and Norfolk Street where it was learned a man had been sprayed in the face. The man left the area before police arrived, however officers were able to view security camera footage of the incident.
A 17-year-old Guelph girl is charged with assault with a weapon, possessing a prohibited weapon and administering a noxious substance. She was held for a bail hearing and has been released to appear in court June 10.
