Guelph Police Service was called to a downtown restaurant Thursday morning for assistance removing a customer from the business. When the 47-year-old male ignored repeated requests to leave, officers attempted to escort him from the building. Once outside a struggle occurred and an officer sustained a minor injury as a result. The man was held for bail and is charged with failing to leave, engaging in a prohibited activity, assaulting a police officer, attempting to disarm a police officer and resisting arrest.
