A Guelph man has been arrested after someone broke into a local high school.
Just before 7 am Tuesday a custodian called police after discovering someone sleeping on tables in the cafeteria. Security video showed the man breaking into the school at approximately 3:15 am and wandering around the school before falling asleep.
Officers arrived and arrested the man. A search revealed he was in possession of identification and banking cards in other people’s names.
A 36-year-old Guelph man is charged with break and enter, possessing stolen property and breaching a probation order. He will appear in bail court Thursday.
