A Guelph man faces assault and threatening charges after an employee at a north-end business was spat on.
Approximately 5:40 pm Saturday police were called to a business on Woodlawn Road West. The victim reported she had been having issues with a man inside the business when he uttered a threat and spat on her shirt. She was not physically injured.
Shortly after 8 pm officers located the man and placed him under arrest. A 27-year-old Guelph man is charged with assault and uttering threats. He will appear in court March 13.
