A Guelph man has been arrested following a hit and run collision last month.

Just after 5 pm March 22 a motorist reported being involved in a collision near Woodlawn Road West and Nicklin Road. The other driver fled the scene but was located by police at his residence approximately one hour layer. Fresh damage was noted on his pickup.

The man told police after leaving the scene he attended a business on Woodlawn Road West. Further investigation revealed he is bound by two different court orders with a condition not to attend that business.

On Monday a 71-year-old Guelph man was arrested for two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking, failing to remain at a collision and careless driving. He will appear in court June 23.
