A Guelph woman was arrested after she was found in possession of pepper spray early Monday.
Approximately 1:20 am police were called after a passerby found a woman lying on the ground near Liverpool Street and Arnold Street. Officers arrived and found the woman walking away. While speaking to her to determine her well-being they found the cannister of spray.
Investigation revealed the 35-year-old Guelph woman is bound by two different court orders banning her from possessing weapons and she was arrested for breaching those orders. She was held for a bail hearing Tuesday.
