A Guelph woman faces charges after a man was assaulted with a garden hose last October.
On October 8 police were called to a home near downtown. The victim reported being involved in an altercation with a woman known to him, during which he was punched several times and then struck on the wrist with the nozzle after the woman swung the hose at him. He did not require medical attention.
The suspect had fled prior to police arrival. On Wednesday she was located during an unrelated call for service and arrested.
A 38-year-old Guelph woman is charged with assault, assault with a weapon and disobeying a court order. She will appear in court May 19.
