Arrest in drive-by BB shooting

A man and woman face weapons charges after a south-end home was shot with BBs Wednesday evening.
Just after 6:30 pm police were called to a home near Hanlon Road and College Avenue West. A woman was on the front porch when a van slowed and the female passenger fired several BBs, which struck the home. No injuries were reported. The victim does not know the involved parties.
Officers located the van at a nearby home and arrested a man. A BB rifle was recovered.
A 19-year-old Guelph man is charged with careless use of a weapon, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, discharging an air gun with intent and mischief under $5,000. He will appear in court June 9.
A 19-year-old Milton woman is wanted on the same charges.
