A Guelph man who allegedly stole tools from the same store six times in less than three months was arrested Tuesday.
Between late October and mid-January the man entered a Woodlawn Road West business on six separate occasions, each time selecting a quantity of power tools and walking out of the business. The thefts had a total value of at least $3,200.
On Tuesday morning a Guelph Police Service officer was patrolling near a Woolwich Street apartment building when he spotted the man and placed him under arrest. A 35-year-old Guelph man is charged with six counts of theft under $5,000. He will appear in court May 5.
