Arrest in trafficking investigation

A Guelph man was arrested Wednesday during a cocaine trafficking investigation.
In late February, an undercover Guelph Police Service officer purchased a quantity of cocaine. Approximately 9:45 pm Wednesday officers observed two people in a vehicle near Eastview Road and Summit Ridge Drive. The passenger was arrested.
A 32-year-old Guelph man is charged with trafficking cocaine and possession for the purpose of trafficking. He was held for a bail hearing Thursday.
