A Guelph man currently bound by 18 different driving prohibitions was arrested Tuesday after he was spotted behind the wheel.
Approximately 11 am members of the Guelph Police Service Break Enter Auto Theft unit spotted the man driving on York Road. He was followed to a business just outside the city and arrested as he exited the vehicle.
Investigation revealed he is subject to 18 indefinite prohibitions dating back to 2003 for various offences.
A 41-year-old Guelph man faces 18 counts of driving while prohibited. He will appear in court June 23. The vehicle, which is not registered to the accused, was impounded.
