Two Guelph men have been arrested in connection with a series of recent commercial break-ins in the east end.

Between January 17 and 24, five businesses were entered after their glass doors were smashed. Products valued at more than $20,000 were stolen.

The Guelph Police Service Break Enter Auto Theft Unit took over the investigations and identified two suspects. On Thursday, officers executed a search warrant at an address near Victoria Road South and York Road and arrested two men.

A 40-year-old Guelph man and 36-year-old Guelph man each face several counts of break and enter and wearing a disguise while committing an offence. Both were held for bail hearings.

The investigation is ongoing.
