On February 19th, 2026, members of the Guelph Police Service Drug Enforcement Unit observed an adult male engaging in activity consistent with drug trafficking in the City of Guelph.

At 5:10pm, with the assistance of the Guelph Police Service Tactics & Rescue Unit and the Guelph Police Service Break Enter Auto Theft Unit, the male was arrested inside a business located near the intersection of Fife Road and Elmira Road South.

A search incident to arrest revealed:-307.47 grams of cocaine ($30,747 if sold by the gram)-$2,745 of Canadian currency

A 41-year-old Guelph male has been charged with:-Possession For The Purpose Of Trafficking – Schedule I Cocaine-Possession Of Property Obtained By Crime Under $5,000-Breach Probation

He was held in custody pending a bail hearing on February 20th.
