Four south-end homes entered

The Guelph Police Service is investigating after four south-end homes were entered while unoccupied over the weekend.
Approximately 10:30 pm Saturday a resident near Gosling Gardens and Clair Road West reported he arrived home to find the front door had been kicked open. Clothing and a laptop were reported missing.
Minutes later, police were called to a home on Clairfields Drive West after the homeowner arrived home to find the front door forced open. Jewelry was reported missing.
Sunday evening, police were called to a home near Victoria Road South and Bard Boulevard. The owners came home from a trip after a neighbour observed their front door had been forced open. The home had been ransacked and a laptop and tablet were stolen.
Later Sunday night, officers were called to another home on Clairfields Drive West which had been entered after the lock on the front door was damaged. Several drawers had been rummaged through but nothing was reported missing.
