Girl arrested after disturbance

A Guelph girl was arrested after police attended a large disturbance Wednesday evening.
Just after 6 pm police were called for reports of two groups of youths fighting in the plaza at Gordon Street and Wellington Street East. Investigation revealed approximately 12 young people were involved in a verbal altercation which turned physical. A 22-year-old man was transported to hospital for treatment after he fell and injured his knee.
A 15-year-old Guelph girl was arrested after it was determined she was breaching several release orders by associating with two males involved in the disturbance. She is charged with two counts each of failing to comply with an undertaking and breaching a probation order. She was held for a bail hearing Thursday.
