Guelph school locked down after threats

The Guelph Police Service is investigating after threats placed a high school in lockdown Thursday afternoon.
Just after 1 pm police learned of a threat against Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute on Paisley Street. The school was placed in lockdown after consultation with Upper Grand District School Board officials.
Officers contained the school and conducted a thorough search. Nothing was found and the threat is believed to be unfounded. The lockdown was lifted at 2:15 pm
