The Guelph Police Service is investigating a reported indecent act Tuesday afternoon in a busy south-end park.

Approximately 5:20 pm police were called about an incident which reportedly took place just after 4 pm at W.E. Hamilton Park on Scottsdale Drive, which is close to several schools.

A 12-year-old girl and two friends were walking through the park when they saw a man standing in a bush area with his pants down masturbating. The girls yelled at the man, who quickly left the area.

He was described as a white man, 25-35, wearing a grey hoodie, black pants, a black backpack and a green and blue camo face covering. He was last seen on foot walking towards Stone Road Mall.
