A Guelph teen faces a weapons charge after mall security officers had a knife pulled on them Wednesday.
Just after noon, security at Stone Road Mall was escorting a male from the mall when he pulled out a knife with a 13-centimetre blade and pointed it at them. He continued to taunt them with the knife while leaving the property. Officers arrived quickly and arrested the male.
A 15-year-old Guelph boy is charged with possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose. He will appear in court May 13.
