A Guelph man has been arrested for luring after Guelph Police Service officers received information from investigators in Newfoundland.
On March 4, local officers received information from the RCMP. An undercover officer in Newfoundland posing as a 15-year-old girl has ongoing chats with a man, who engaged her in sexually explicit conversations and sent pornographic videos and explicit images of himself.
On Tuesday a warrant was executed at a south-end residence. A man was arrested and devices were seized as evidence for further examination.
A 38-year-old Guelph man is charged with two counts of luring a child under 16 and making sexually explicit material available to a person under 16. He will appear in court June 16.
