Medical call leads to impaired charge

A Milton woman faces an impaired driving charge after emergency responders responded to a medical call early Tuesday.
Approximately 12:45 am police and EMS responded to an address on York Road where the woman had pulled her car over and called 911. A search of the vehicle revealed a small amount of crystal methamphetamine.
She was transported to hospital where blood samples were taken for further analysis.
A 31-year-old Milton woman is charged with impaired operation. She will appear in court January 27.
