The Guelph Police Service continues to investigate after a vehicle was targeted for theft for a second time in as many days.

On Wednesday morning, a resident of Downey Road reported finding her 2025 Lincoln Navigator damaged. Security video revealed two men arrived in a black sedan – believed to be an Audi – at approximately 2:45 am and damaged the Lincoln while attempting to enter it.

On Tuesday morning, the same complainant had reported someone entered the Lincoln overnight and was able to start it but could not drive it due to a security feature the owner had installed. In that occurrence, two men arrived in what appears to be the same black sedan.

Also Wednesday, a resident near Summerfield Drive and Colonial Drive reported his black 2024 GMC Sierra pickup had been stolen from his driveway overnight.
