The Guelph Police Service is investigating after a south-end residence was entered and ransacked.
Just after 1 pm Tuesday police were called to a home near Edinburgh Road South and Stone Road West. Sometime since Friday, someone smashed a rear glass sliding door to access the house. Most rooms had drawers or closets opened and ransacked. A small amount of costume jewelry was reported missing.
