The Guelph Police Service is investigating after males armed with hammers robbed a south-end jewelry store Tuesday afternoon.
Just before 4 pm police were called to a store inside Stone Road Mall. Four males, some carrying hammers, entered the store and smashed display cases before fleeing with an undisclosed quantity of jewelry. There were no physical injuries reported by employees.
The suspects were all dressed fully in black. Two were wearing light green gloves and one was carrying red grocery bags. They were seen leaving the area in a lowered four-door Honda Civic.
