A Guelph man will be looking for another way to get around after being taken off the road Wednesday for stunt driving.
Just before 9 pm a member of the Guelph Police Service Traffic Unit was conducting radar on Gordon Street near Maltby Road when he clocked a Volkswagen travelling 108 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone.
A 46-year-old Guelph man is charged with speeding, stunt driving and failing to surrender a vehicle permit. His licence was suspended for 30 days and his vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
A stunt driving conviction will attract a minimum licence suspension of one year, a minimum fine of $2,000 and six demerit points.
